Why book a destination wedding photographer in Phuket?
A Phuket wedding day is planned backwards from sunset, which falls around half past six all year: the couple portraits need the west coast in the last ninety minutes of light, and the ceremony time follows from that. Distance is the other constraint. The island is about fifty kilometres long and evening traffic through Patong hill or the Chalong roundabout is slow, so portraits stay close to the venue rather than at a viewpoint across the island. Resort grounds need the venue’s agreement, which we arrange in advance. Two photographers cover eight hours.
The hour matters more than the location. For Promthep Cape, the window to aim for is sunrise, or an hour before sunset. The session runs 8 hours and is built around that window rather than your diary: between ten and four the tropical sun is almost overhead, and timing is the one variable that genuinely changes the result.
What does the session in Phuket look like?
Coverage runs 8 hours and follows your schedule rather than a fixed route. When a gap opens for composed frames, we step out to Promthep Cape or Karon Viewpoint (Kata Noi, Kata and Karon).

FAQ — Destination wedding photographer in Phuket
Destination wedding photographer in Phuket: what time should we book?
For Promthep Cape, aim for sunrise, or an hour before sunset. At a busy location, two hours either way changes what can be framed at all.
Do we need a permit to shoot in Phuket?
Not at the locations we use for this session — they are public beaches and open spaces. If your request falls outside that, we say so before you book.
What happens if it rains in Phuket?
We move the session to another slot or another day at no cost. A tropical downpour usually passes within the hour; if you are only here briefly, we switch to sheltered locations scouted in advance rather than cancelling.
When do we get the results from Phuket?
400 edited photos. Timing is as listed in the package — sneak peek in 48 hours, full gallery in 3 weeks — in a private online gallery, downloadable at full resolution from any country.
